Safety is of the upmost importance to Ocean View Little League, and we are dedicated to providing a safe environment for your children to enjoy and learn the games of Baseball and Softball. In accordance with Little League's "A Safety and Awareness Program (ASAP)", OVLL has an APPROVED SAFETY PLAN for the 2025-2026 season. At OVLL we know injuries happen, and with that in mind we ensure each of our board members, coaches, and volunteers receive the training necessary for such instances. We handle each injury seriously and every player is provided the attention they deserve.

Our Safety Officer, Kristy Snyder, has provided an emergency first aid kit to each team manager and our league has necessary medical supplies for specific injuries to ensure all kids are safe.

Each team manager is provided the appropriate forms to document incidents should an injury occur. No matter how small or big, our team managers and coaches are directed to report and and all injuries.

All of our coaches and board members are required to do concussion training and various other safety courses.

Medical Release Form
A medical release form is required by all players who participate in baseball/softball within our complex. This form is required to be turned into your team manager prior to practice and/or games,  and will be kept securely by your team manager.

To assist in the accident reporting we have an accident report form that each of our team managers, coaches and board members are provided at the start of every season.
